This Privacy Policy explains how Zeeni (“Zeeni,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Zeeni, including user-initiated phone verification by SMS.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Zeeni, we may collect:

• Account and identity information, such as a handle, session identifiers, and verification status
• Contact information you provide, including a mobile phone number you voluntarily enter for publisher verification
• Content you choose to share or publish, such as text, links, images, or other materials you submit to organize or publish as Zeeni cards
• Device and usage information needed to operate the product (for example device-enablement state, request metadata, and security logs)
• SMS-verification metadata (for example that a verification message was received from your number, message identifiers from our messaging provider, and related delivery metadata) — not the private contents of unrelated personal texts

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, secure, and improve Zeeni
• Verify a phone number you control through Zeeni’s user-initiated SMS verification flow (you send a one-time verification message to Zeeni)
• Operate publishing, private drafts, and public pages you choose to make available
• Prevent abuse, debug issues, and comply with law

SMS / mobile messaging (phone verification)

Zeeni uses SMS for user-initiated phone verification only.

When you choose to verify a mobile number:

1. You enter the phone number you control. 2. Zeeni shows verification instructions and a temporary verification phrase. 3. Your device’s Messages app opens with a prefilled message addressed to Zeeni’s verification number. 4. You review and send that message. 5. Zeeni receives the message and uses it solely to confirm that you control that phone number.

Zeeni does not currently send marketing messages, recurring notifications, one-time passcodes (OTP codes), or other application-originated SMS to your phone as part of this verification flow. Completing verification does not enroll you in marketing SMS or other recurring SMS programs.

Disclosures

• Message and data rates may apply to the verification message you send.
• Mobile information and SMS-verification data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your mobile phone number.
• Service providers: We use messaging infrastructure providers (such as Twilio) to receive verification messages on our behalf. Those providers process message data only to deliver the messaging service under our instructions and their own privacy terms.
• Questions about verification: use Zeeni at https://zeeni.world or the contact options shown in the product.

Providing a phone number for verification is used to confirm you control that number for Zeeni publisher identity. It is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

When we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us host, secure, or deliver Zeeni (including receiving verification SMS)
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity
• Parties you direct, for example when you publish a public card or share a link

Mobile information and SMS-verification data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Public content

If you publish content publicly or share a link, that content may be visible to others according to the visibility you choose. Public pages are sanitized according to Zeeni’s publish and public-safety rules.

Retention

We retain information as needed to operate Zeeni, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Verification challenges and related SMS metadata are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Zeeni is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of Zeeni after an update means you accept the revised policy.
